QUARTERLY FINANCIAL UPDATES

Our quarterly financial reports (for April thru June) were presented at the quarterly congregational meeting on Sunday, August 8th.  The discussion included a summary of the changes we have made to some of our major operating expenses and ministry investments to align them with our current level of giving, as well as our potential for growth.  If you were not at the meeting, a copy of this quarterly stewardship report can be picked up on Sundays at the Guest Information Services (G.I.S.) area at our building's entrance.  If you have any questions about the reports, or if you find copies are no longer available at the G.I.S. area, please feel free to contact Bill Blissett, elder and PRCC treasurer, at 297-8410.

MISSION TRIP UPDATE

CONNECT AND SERVE!

Summer is here, and this presents many challenges...our snowbirds have flown away...people going on vacation or escaping the heat.  We need everyone (attenders & members) to pitch in once a month to volunteer.

We have something for everyone to do and we need YOU.  Commit to volunteering at least once a month by coming 45 minutes before service on Sunday.  Meet in Don's Office at 9:15 AM.  We will give you the training and job description.  For further info, contact Ellen Kirton (ekirton@comcast.net) or call the church office 797-4517.  On the back of the Connection Card please write down what day of the month you will serve. THANK YOU!!

LOOKING TO CONNECT?

If you are looking for a way to connect more with PRCC, we are looking for volunteers to help in the office.  Bring your talents and get connected!  No skills?  Don't worry, we will train you.  If you have time available and would like to help out with various functions in the office, please call Don at 576-7171 or email prcctucson@hotmail.com.

You may volunteer for whatever hours you would like to work on Mondays or Thursdays.

INTERFAITH COMMUNITY SERVICES (ICS) WEEKLY NEWS

ICS FOOD BANK TO BE OPEN SATURDAYS:   In addition to being open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, the ICS Food Bank is now also open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.  Food donations will also be accepted during the Saturday hours.  

ICS HOSTING VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE SITE: Starting February 3, the ICS site is open Wednesdays from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  No appointment is necessary;   

FOOD BANK VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  We’re looking for a few good people to work in our Food Bank.  If you can lift boxes or are mildly computer literate, join us!

INTERESTED IN BEING IN THE MUSIC GROUP?

An invitation is always open to all who would like to join the ensemble.

Practice is on Wednesday nights at 6pm.
